Theobroma Chocolate Lounge ~ 1 Utama

This is a backdated entry copied from my livejournal

Theobroma Chocolate Lounge is situated in One-Utama shopping complex. Don’t ask me which wing, I can’t tell the difference. The setting reminded me a lot of Schokolart, just that Theobroma’s is all black instead of white.

They offer chocolate drinks like Schokolart. Their truffles and chocolate look very, very different from the Schokolart range, however.

It would seem there’s quite the amount of coloring involved. And they have cute chocolate frogs! Bite sized of course.

Silvy had a pot of Lavendar Grey while I had the Fruits of Eden. It comes with a small pot of hot water and a tea cup. Much like a personal single tea set. They gladly refill your pot of hot water but an additional tea bag comes with additional money

Silvy had Oven Baked Chicken – it looked very much like Roasted Chicken Rice to me haha but this came with an interesting looking brown sauce that Dimmie couldn’t get enough of.

Dimmie had a lunch set which was a Light meal + Orange juice or another drink which I can’t remember – was it Iced Lemon Tea? She picked flatbread with Tandoori Chicken. Light meal indeed. The portion is small, it’s like a tea time snack to be exact. She liked it so that’s pretty much the most important thing😛

I had a Cheese and Mushroom Omelette with Baked Beans. The Omelette was good, the French bread a little dry.

It is rather silly that we went to a Chocolate Lounge and didn’t have any chocolate though. This is good for those who want to go to a budgeted-Schokolart. Good food at a cheaper price and a better location.
